The color and cropped cut of this blazer feels more laid-back than most blazers I own. I decided to play with the rugged-feel by pairing it with two feminine, silky blouses. The oversized, patterned blouse peeking out from the sheer apricot silk blouse provides just the right amount of visual interest. I wanted the layered tops to speak for themselves, completing this look sans any statement jewelry. The black shawl, being worn as a scarf, anchors the eye in to the center of the chest area and breaks up the rusty color of the brown blazer.
